As an accomplished artist with over 30 years of experience in the arts, I specialize in vibrant pastel painting. My journey is marked by a passion for continuous learning and artistic growth. Currently based in Austin, TX, I have been creating and exhibiting dynamic pastel artworks for over five years, focusing on innovative compositions and color techniques.

In addition to my artistic pursuits, I am an experienced educator. I have taught as an adjunct professor guiding both undergraduate and graduate students. My teaching philosophy emphasizes curriculum development and student mentorship, fostering a supportive environment for artistic exploration.

To refine my skills, I regularly participate in workshops with renowned pastelists such as Albert Handell, Karen Margulis, Desmond O'Hagen, Barbara Jaenicki, Nancy King Mertz, and Liz Haywood Sullivan.
